Jason Fernandez

Hey there, my name is Jason Fernandez and I’m an actor and comedian based in New York City. Originally born in North Carolina, I was ecstatic to graduate with a BFA in Drama from UNCSA. There, I was given the opportunity to learn and hone skills in improv, sketch comedy, stage combat, and film and tv work.

 

My dad and his brother immigrated from Cuba at an early age, bringing with them their love for the arts I luckily inherited. My uncle began to pursue his career writing and performing on broadway, and my dad had percussion in his blood. Whether its bongos, steel drum, or a simple shaker, my love for rhythm and a stellar vibe sticks with me wherever I go! Nothing makes my day more than making someone else’s day. I’ve begun my stand up career in the city recently, as I attempt to bring large smiles and a genuine presence to any and all work I am a part of.
